Revenue Cycle Data Analyst IT Informatics
- Support system and data integrity, data validation, as well as the development of operational, financial, and clinical quality data.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis and modeling, manage complex data sets, identify quality data trends, and maintain the in-house SQL database.
- Participate in data quality investigations and clean-up efforts, understand population health analytics, and metrics for clinical-based and claims-based data systems.
- Create automated reports using the Employee Health Records (EHR) reporting platform and population health tools.
- Generate reports for quality improvement initiatives by optimizing in-application SQL statements and resolving data issues in real time.
- Ensure data completeness and accuracy, while identifying data gaps for improvement.
- Maintain data reliability, eliminate data redundancy, and streamline reporting procedures.
- Participate in data collection and entry processes to ensure accuracy and conduct quality investigations on data elements to enhance data completeness.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
- 3 years or more of professional experience in healthcare data analysis or population health platforms.
- Experienced in Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Revenue management, medical billing and coding, or Patient financial services informatics
