Durable Medical Equipment Office Coordinator

Durable medical equipment (DME) company has an immediate opening for Office Coordinator position at its Phoenix, AZ office.

Job Responsibilities ( include but are not limited to the following) :

• Willingness to learn DME products such as CPAPs, Oxygen and Vest therapy
• Manages supplies, shipping, deliveries in a cost-effective manner as per policy
• Maintains accurate count of inventory of the company and coordinates all product related activities
• Willingness to navigate and pull EOBs, work denials
• Communicates positively with clients, physicians, hospitals, home health agencies and health plans by cultivating liaisons and promoting interaction.
• Exhibits a courteous, respectful and helpful attitude to clients, co-workers and management team.
• Maintains strong compliance with Medicare guidelines for required documentation and all applicable insurance guidelines regarding eligibility for coverage and reimbursement.
• Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding patient and company confidentiality (HIPAA)
• Understands and achieves team and individual goals as determined by supervisors.
• Promotes company culture by adhering to policies and procedures prior to making any decisions

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare with willingness to learn
• Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and execute tasks based on priority
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Brightree knowledge is a plus
