Position Overview

As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll play a key role in delivering electrical renovations, retrofits, and new installations for industrial and commercial facilities. This position is ideal for electricians who take pride in producing clean, code-compliant work and can operate independently in fast-paced construction environments.

You'll work with experienced professionals on projects requiring advanced conduit installation, power distribution systems, and electrical infrastructure for critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical renovations and retrofit work on industrial and commercial projects.
• Run, bend, and install EMT and Rigid conduit from ¾" through 4".
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot 480V 3-phase power systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Plan layouts and execute installations according to project specifications.
• Install electrical equipment, power distribution systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Maintain compliance with NEC standards, site requirements, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project teams to support construction schedules and deadlines.
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices while promoting best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Commercial or Industrial Electrician.
• Strong conduit bending experience with EMT and Rigid conduit up to 4".
• Experience installing and working on 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, and installation procedures.
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess personal electrical hand tools.
• Reliable attendance and a professional work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center construction experience.
• Industrial construction experience.
• Experience working with apprentices and less experienced electricians.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience on large, fast-paced commercial or industrial projects.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Primary project located in South Phoenix
• Start times between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM
• Standard 40-hour work week
• Overtime available based on project demands
• Optional Saturday work available when projects require additional support
• Future project opportunities throughout Arizona, including Tucson and Flagstaff
• Travel may be required for select projects
• All travel expenses and lodging are fully covered

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
