Job Overview:

As a Shuttle Driver for Christian Brothers Automotive, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation to and from our shop. You will drive our branded vehicle and are expected to adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Due to limited on-site parking and increasing business volume, we rely on a smooth and consistent shuttle system to maintain a clear and accessible lot. Your primary responsibility will be to move customer and company vehicles between our lots throughout the day, helping us maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain clear, neat, and accessible parking areas throughout the workday.
• Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
• Providing a safe shuttle service for our valued guests
• Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
• Providing a safe, nice difference® service for our valued guests in our branded company shuttle vehicle
• Keeps a timely shuttle route
• Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
• Assisting the shop with other errands as needed
• Work closely with service advisors and other staff to prioritize vehicle movement.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

:

• Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with our staff, vendors, and guest
• Valid state driver's license
• Meet required insurance driving record parameters
• Previous professional driving experience preferred (valet, delivery, shuttle service, etc.)
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a team mentality ( we work hard but like to have fun doing it )!
• Must be able to work outdoors and be on your feet for most of the day
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work outdoors and be on your feet for most of the day
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
• The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
