Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract position offers a valuable opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services in a K-8 educational setting in Yuma, AZ. Beginning August 4, 2025, through May 27, 2026, this role involves working with a diverse caseload within the school district, ensuring each student receives individualized support for communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments to identify speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement targeted goals aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
• Lead and participate in IEP meetings to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to students across K-8 grades.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes compliant with district and state guidelines.
• Collaborate as an itinerant therapist with paid travel time included.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona speech-language pathology licensure.
• Arizona educational certification in speech-language pathology.
• Completion of IVP fingerprint clearance.
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Experience working in school settings K-12 strongly desired.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently and effectively within an itinerant framework.

Location:Yuma, Arizona Serving K-8 schools within the local school district.
