HVAC Building Automation Project Manager - Mechanical Servicing Company - Base Salary to 120k/year - Phoenix, AZ

• Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for an HVAC Building Automation Project Manager. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add an HVAC Building Automation Project Manager in the Phoenix area to help them take this division to new heights.
  
• In this role, the HVAC Building Automation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple projects ranging from small-scale to multi-million-dollar scopes. In addition, the HVAC Building Automation Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and supervise engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Most of these projects will include commercial or industrial retrofits

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of retrofit and controls projects, ensuring timely completion, budget compliance, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  
• Monitor project financials and schedules, taking proactive steps to maintain profitability and meet deadlines.
  
• Oversee field operations, including manpower planning, subcontractor coordination, and compliance with safety and documentation requirements.
  
• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams on bids, budgets, and change orders to ensure accurate project scope and resource allocation.
  
• Mentor and develop field staff through regular feedback, performance reviews, and hands-on technical training.
• Performs pre-bid site assessments with sales to scope retrofit project requirements.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Commercial HVAC experience in building automation and energy services
  
• 5+ years of building automation projects
  
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects

Compensation:

• Base salary up to 120k/year
