Job Title: Rebuild Field Technician

Position Summary

Preferred Choice Restoration Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Rebuild Field Technician to join our team. This position plays a critical role in restoring residential properties following water, fire, or other property damage. The Rebuild Field Technician is responsible for completing high-quality repair and reconstruction tasks while delivering an exceptional customer experience in homeowners’ properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general rebuild and reconstruction tasks including:
  • Drywall installation, patching, and finishing
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Flooring installation (LVP, tile, laminate, carpet as applicable)
  • Baseboards, trim, and finish carpentry
  • Minor framing and repairs
  • Additional tasks as assigned by Project Managers
• Work efficiently to meet established project timelines and deadlines
• Maintain consistent communication with Project Managers regarding job progress, material needs, and any issues that arise
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
• Interact professionally and respectfully with homeowners and occupants at all times
• Represent the company with a professional appearance and positive attitude

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, remodeling, or restoration rebuild work (required)
• Proficiency in drywall, painting, and flooring installation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing project needs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as required
