Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,130 - $2,190 per week

ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 – Premier destination for Arizona healthcare professionals seeking outdoor adventure and vibrant local culture
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (13-week contract)
• Unit: Blended ICU/CVICU, Level III Trauma Center
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Number of Beds: 16
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN), ED holding as needed

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arizona or compact state
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Proven experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong knowledge of ICU diagnoses and treatments (e.g., STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, TVAR)
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult and geriatric patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and operate Baxter infusion pumps
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as required
• Maintain accurate electronic health records using Medhost EHR
• Comply with hospital policies, including attendance and dress code (scrub color to be confirmed)
