BCBA Clinical Director
The Clinical Director provides clinical leadership, oversight, and quality assurance for all ABA services within an assigned clinic. Reporting to the Vice President of Clinical Operations, this role ensures the delivery of ethical, evidence-based, and medically necessary treatment while mentoring clinical staff and maintaining high standards of care. The Clinical Director supervises BCBAs and Clinical Case Managers, supports BT/RBT supervision, collaborates with clinic operations, and maintains a limited clinical caseload. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for all ABA services within the assigned clinic.
- Ensure compliance with BACB Ethics Code, payer requirements, and company clinical standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate BCBAs and Clinical Case Managers.
- Support the development and professional growth of clinical team members.
- Monitor the quality of BT/RBT supervision and provide coaching to clinicians.
- Conduct clinical audits, treatment reviews, fidelity observations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Review assessments, treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and programming to ensure evidence-based care.
- Support implementation of PRT/NDBI clinical models.
- Maintain a small clinical caseload with a minimum of 10 billable hours per week, including treatment modifications, parent training, assessments, direct supervision, and consultations.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation, treatment plans, progress reports, and authorization renewals.
- Partner with the Operations Manager on staffing, scheduling, client transitions, and overall clinic performance.
- Support onboarding, performance evaluations, corrective action plans, and professional development initiatives.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
- Experience in clinical leadership or supervisory roles within an ABA setting.
- Strong knowledge of ABA practices, treatment planning, documentation standards, and payer requirements.
- Proven ability to mentor clinicians and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client-centered care, and staff development.
