Radiation Therapist – Yuma, AZ

Pay Range: $40.82 – $61.23/hour
Sign-On Incentive: $5,000 (1-year commitment) OR $10,000 (2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (1-year commitment)
Housing: 3 months fully furnished

Position Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of radiation therapy experience and will provide high-quality support to patients during treatments. This role is essential in delivering safe, effective radiation therapy in collaboration with the radiation oncology team.

Note: Only candidates residing 100+ miles from Yuma, AZ will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients on and off the treatment table; primarily a support role during treatment.

• Start and stop the radiation beam/treatment as directed.

• Operate and document procedures in EMR systems (EPIC) and PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System).

• Use Aria software to manage and run treatment machines.

• Operate department-specific equipment such as Varian systems.

• Collaborate with Radiation Therapist Lead and in-house Radiation Physician to ensure safe, effective treatments.

• Maintain patient comfort and safety at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy.

• Active ARRT(T) certification.

• Current Arizona Radiation Therapy license .

• Must reside 100+ miles from Onvida Health.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Varian equipment, EPIC EMR, and Aria software.

• Strong communication and patient care skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule & Environment

• 8-hour day shifts (Full-time, 80 hours per two weeks)

• Minimal weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements

• Scrub color: Black

• No IV responsibilities

• No Registered Radiology Assistant (RRA) support
