Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to lead outpatient pharmacy operations in Peridot, AZ.

The ideal candidate will have hospital pharmacy experience, prior management or lead experience, and a strong focus on patient care. This role requires flexibility, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well within a team. (Local candidates are strongly preferred.)

Schedule: Flexible days and hours (8- or 10-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise daily operations, policies, and procedures to maintain quality and compliance
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff to achieve performance and professional growth standards
• Manage purchasing and inventory for timely, cost-effective pharmaceutical availability
• Oversee pharmacy information systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Counsel patients effectively and in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controlled substance regulations
• Support training, orientation, and quality assurance programs
• Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
• Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements

Essential Functions & Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school
• PharmD preferred; 1-year residency (PGY1) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years pharmacist experience with at least 2 years in a management/lead role
• Hospital pharmacy experience required
• Current and active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (Arizona license preferred)
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (90 days acceptable for some cases)
• Licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team integration skills
• Must pass background check and drug screen
