• Position: Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) / Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN

• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: February 23, 2026 • End: May 24, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift: 12-hour days (05:45–18:00 and 07:45–20:30)
• On Call: 1 twelve-hour call (18:00–06:30) and 2 twenty-four-hour calls (06:00–06:00) per six weeks
• Openings: 2 PACU RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460–$1,540/week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (post-anesthesia/post-op recovery)
• Active Arizona RN license or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred (electronic medical record experience)
• Strong critical thinking, perioperative assessment, and patient monitoring skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality postoperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe transitions of care
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, pain management, airway monitoring, and hemodynamic support
• Follow the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and leadership when prioritizing care and delegating tasks
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and unit-based training
