Vaco Phoenix is looking for an HR Director for a top client in North Phoenix. This HR Director will lead company-wide recruiting and HR initiatives across hourly and salaried roles, serving as a strategic partner to executive leadership while overseeing employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, succession planning, and risk management. This is a fully onsite, direct hire position, paying up to $200k per year depending on experience. Interviews are being held this week. Responsibilities Direct enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategies for both hourly and professional-level roles. Advise executive leadership on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and key HR initiatives. Manage employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance programs, total rewards, and benefits administration. Develop and implement HR frameworks, policies, and employee development initiatives to strengthen organizational capabilities. Collaborate with safety and operations teams to manage workers’ compensation, return-to-work programs, and workplace risk mitigation. Lead succession planning, workforce forecasting, and leadership development initiatives to support long-term business growth. Job Requirements: 7 years of progressive HR leadership experience. Experience leading both HR and recruiting/talent acquisition functions. Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance. Experience supporting construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similarly regulated industries Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
