Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve for the full academic year, creating a positive difference in children’s lives. As you join the school-based team, you’ll also play a leadership role by supervising an SLPA, helping to amplify the reach of quality speech services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Skills in assessment, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong collaborative abilities and effective communication with educators, parents, and staff
- Previous supervisory experience or enthusiasm for mentoring SLPAs is preferred but not required
- State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in Arizona
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students on your caseload (details collected at assignment start)
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Supervise and support an SLPA, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Contribute to eligibility, IEP, and progress meetings as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Communicate effectively with families and staff regarding students’ progress and needs
