SVS Group is currently looking to hire an Experienced Reach Truck Operator for one of our best Ice Cream Manufacturing Plants in Glendale, AZ. This is a first shift position. You will have typical Reach Truck Operating Job Duties to include:
- Able to safely operate a Reach Truck.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of warehousing.
- Report all safety hazards and alert management of unsafe work practices.
- Perform all freezer duties.
- Able to respond to frequent changes.
- Ensure FIFO rotation is always applied for all products (stocking).
- Follow all warehouse and production S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing company goals.
Requirements:
- You must have at least 3years of experience on a standup/reach truck.
- Reach truck certification.
- Ability to stand for a full shift and work overtime as needed.
- Proficient in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Solid reading skills.
- Ability to understand written, electronic, and verbal instructions/directions.
- Ability to multitask.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency to work in an ON TIME environment.
- Initiative to work with minimal instruction or direction.
- Able to move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
- Able to work and withstand cold and humid temperatures.
- Work in freezer environment.
- We are currently hiring for 1st Shift - Monday - Friday (flexible to work Saturdays if needed)
