Vaco Arizona is partnering with a growing client to hire a Director of Sales. This leadership role can be based in Arizona or Florida and offers the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales organization while driving revenue growth across the aerospace, defense, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. This position requires approximately 20% travel. This role is hybrid and paying up to $175,000 with bonus. Responsibilities: Lead sales growth and revenue initiatives Develop new business and acquire new customers Grow and maintain key customer relationships Identify new market opportunities within aerospace, defense, government, and industrial sectors Create sales forecasts, growth plans, and revenue targets Manage, mentor, and develop a growing sales team Oversee a team of 5 direct reports Hire and develop future sales talent as the organization grows Set performance goals and create accountability measures Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture Improve sales processes, workflows, and best practices Develop and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics Analyze sales data and provide recommendations for improvement Lead CRM strategy, implementation, and optimization Evaluate and implement sales tools and technology Required: 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience Proven success leading teams within industrial distribution, aerospace, defense, MRO, manufacturing, technical products, or related industries Demonstrated experience growing revenue and building high-performing sales organizations Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, forecasting models, and sales performance metrics Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
