Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Technician for a Temp to Hire opportunity in Tucson, AZ.
This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical, plumbing, and general facilities experience who enjoys keeping buildings safe, functional, organized, and ready for daily operations.

The Facilities Technician will support a government and public sector work environment where reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities

- Perform general facilities maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, lighting, painting, lubrication, and repair support.

- Walk the premises to inspect lights, exit signs, common areas, office spaces, doors, gates, windows, and other facility components, creating service tickets when vendor support is needed.

- Set up new desks, office spaces, conference rooms, seating, tables, snacks, and meeting areas, then break down and clean up after events.

- Coordinate with outside vendors for onsite repairs, escort vendors to designated work areas, and communicate repair needs professionally.

- Drive a company vehicle and 26-foot box truck as needed to support facility operations.

- Provide backup custodial support and assist with trash removal, basic cleaning, and general workplace readiness.
