PACKER/SHIPPER

Job Description : The Packer/shipper will be responsible for packing/crating our product.

Duties:

· Packers will follow packing instructions dictated by the Shop Work Order paperwork.

· All counts are to be verified by the Packer to ensure that the correct quantity of parts is being packed per Shop Work Order paperwork.

· Labels are to be filled out and applied to bundles or crates identifying type of products and quantities.

· All Shop Work Order paperwork is to be completely filled out with the number of bundles and the quantity in each bundle.

· At times the Packer will need to build crates for shipping our product. Crates will be built with the following tools: Chop saw, tape measure, nail gun, etc..

SKILLS NEEDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

· Basic Math

· Able to lift / handle product repeatedly

· Able to stand for 8 hours

· Read a tape measure

· To use a chop saw

· Able to use a nail gun

· To help in other departments when needed

· Accuracy

· Collaboration
