Job Title: Mechanical TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Mechanical Technicians to perform mechanical repairs and maintenance at a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) site. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of our energy infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical systems, a strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective mechanical maintenance on BESS infrastructure.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures in cooling systems, enclosures, and support structures.
• Conduct inspections and document mechanical conditions and service activities.
• Collaborate with technicians and site engineers to ensure system integrity.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory.
• Follow all OSHA, NFPA, and site-specific safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical repair and maintenance expertise.
• Proficiency in using hand tools for field service.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in energy, industrial, or utility settings.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and mechanical enclosures.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.
• Must be prepared with FR clothing, PPE, and tools.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
