Traffic Control Division Manager

Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000 DOE + Robust Benefits + Bonus
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position Type: Direct Hire

How you’ll spend your time as a Traffic Control Division Manager:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Traffic Control division.
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule traffic control technicians and support staff.
• Foster a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Design and review traffic control plans (TCPs) using industry-standard software and standards.
• Ensure timely submission of permits and compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and municipal agencies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and resources needed for field operations.
• Monitor project performance, productivity, and profitability.
• Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow division revenue.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals for traffic control projects.

Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Traffic Control Division Manager:

• 5+ years of experience in traffic control operations.
• 2+ years of experience in a management role.
• Proven experience running traffic control projects in the Mesa/Phoenix area.
• Strong knowledge of MUTCD, ADOT, and local municipality traffic control standards.
• Proficiency in creating/drafting traffic control plans.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability in business development or growing a division/region preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ATSSA or equivalent certification preferred.
