Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to be the primary point of contact between our customers and technicians. The ideal candidate will combine strong customer service skills, technical knowledge, and sales ability to ensure a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a welcoming, professional experience.
Understand and explain automotive services, repairs, and recommendations clearly and patiently.
Review digital inspections and provide them to customers in a professional and clear manner.
Prepare accurate estimates for recommended repairs and services.
Manage service appointments, workflow, and technician assignments efficiently.
Order and receive parts, and timely manage returns to include cores, defects, and warranty.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation using our service software (Mitchell1 experience a plus).
Monitor repair progress and communicate updates to customers proactively.
Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, encouraging loyalty and trust.
Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role.
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair processes.
Ability to explain technical issues to customers in a clear, patient manner.
Professional, courteous, honest, and detail-oriented.
Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities.
Strong computer skills; experience with Mitchell1 service writing tools a plus.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
