This role provides leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel, coordinates material movement throughout the facility, maintains inventory integrity, and supports production operations by ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods. We are looking for leaders who apply their organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to operational excellence to positively impact the future of energy! • Receiving Operations: Oversee incoming material receipt, inspection, verification, and documentation to ensure accuracy and timely processing of deliveries.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory audits, stock reconciliation, and transaction verification while ensuring proper inventory controls are followed.
  • Material Coordination: Coordinate the movement of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility to support production schedules and operational requirements.
  • Warehouse Organization: Ensure materials are properly identified, stored, organized, and traceable while maintaining efficient warehouse layouts and storage practices.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with purchasing, planning, and production teams to support replenishment activities and prevent material shortages.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of shipping documents, receiving records, inventory transactions, bills of lading, and warehouse documentation.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify incoming and outgoing materials for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with quality standards while supporting corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate and oversee the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational performance through process improvements and Lean initiatives.
  • Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while supporting 5S initiatives and facility housekeeping standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and material handling practices.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with production, purchasing, planning, quality, logistics, and management teams to coordinate material availability, resolve issues, and achieve operational objectives.
Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics, with prior leadership or lead experience preferred.

  • Experience with shipping documentation, receiving procedures, freight carriers, packaging requirements, and transportation logistics.
  • Ability to utilize ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory transactions, material handling, documentation, and shipment verification.
  • Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, process inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate workflow effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and provide clear direction to team members.
  • Ability to foster a positive team environment while working collaboratively with production, quality, supply chain, and management personnel.
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
