**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team dedicated to constructing and troubleshooting heavy industrial parts for dump trucks from the ground up. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to install mechanical items safely and efficiently on dump trucks and trailers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot and install mechanical components on dump trucks and trailers.
+ Understand and operate air systems.
+ Perform basic welding tasks.
+ Install consoles and pumps.
+ Work with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Handle large assembly installations such as tanks and saddles.
+ Conduct body electrical outfit installations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working on dump trucks.
+ Electric and hydraulic connection and plumbing.
+ Basic understanding of air systems and operations.
+ Ability to read service and repair manuals.
+ Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
+ Welding in flat and vertical planes (all position welding) is preferred.
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a mechanical field with hydraulic system repairs.
+ Comfortable with electrical troubleshooting.
+ Experience with wrenching and power tools.
+ Physical ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
+ Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

**Work Environment**
The role is based in a mechanic/machine shop, utilizing tools such as power tools, pneumatic wrenches, grinders, and air tools. The position may require bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting to perform repairs and inspections.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, Arizona.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
