We are seeking a dependable and compassionate nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will support patient care in a fast-paced procedural environment focused on interventional pain services. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional pain procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, education, and verification of required information.
• Assist the clinical team with procedure room setup, patient monitoring, and recovery care.
• Monitor vital signs and observe patients for changes in condition, responding appropriately to concerns.
• Administer medications and intravenous therapies in accordance with facility policies and scope of practice.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support infection prevention, safety, and quality standards throughout the patient care process.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other team members to promote efficient workflow.
• Educate patients and families regarding pre-procedure and post-procedure instructions as directed.
• Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the applicable state.
• Active BLS certification; additional certifications may be preferred based on facility needs.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgery center, procedural area, recovery room, or related acute care setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of patient assessment, medication administration, and post-procedure recovery care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, composure, and efficiency during procedural care.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience supporting interventional pain procedures or similar specialty care.
• Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Interest in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative setting.
