Your day as a Certified Nursing AideAs a Full-Time Certified Nursing Aide at American Premier Hospice, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential tasks aimed at providing high-quality care to our senior patients. You will assist with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding, ensuring that each patient’s dignity and comfort are prioritized. You will monitor vital signs, document changes in patients' conditions, and communicate effectively with the nursing staff to address any needs or concerns. Additionally, you will engage in meaningful conversations with patients, providing companionship and emotional support essential to their well-being. Maintaining a clean and safe environment while adhering to hygiene protocols is also crucial.

- Compassion and empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, and frail is vital for fostering a supportive environment.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate self-direction with minimal supervision, possess satisfactory references, maintain current CPR certification, and exhibit tact, patience, and personal hygiene.
- A valid driver’s license and an insured, well-maintained automobile are also necessary for fulfilling job responsibilities effectively.
