Registered Nurse – OB/GYN, traveling assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona. Outpatient Women’s Health Clinic operating within a Short Term Acute Care setting. Start date: 03/23/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,171–$2,345. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. This is a travel - temporary assignment with clinic-focused duties in an outpatient OB/GYN environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to outpatient OB/GYN patients, including triage and routine assessments
- Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate per clinical protocols
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; assist with routine OB/GYN procedures and post-procedure care
- Document care in the electronic medical record; communicate with the care team and provide patient education on medications, follow-up, and warning signs
- Coordinate with supervising providers and clinic staff; respond to patient call lights and phones as assigned
- Maintain infection control, safety, and privacy standards; may float to other departments within scope of practice when qualified

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (AZ)
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Women’s Health with strong critical thinking and triage skills (knowledge of ESI Emergency Severity Index)
- Clinic experience required; ability to work effectively in an outpatient OB/GYN clinic setting
- Education: Graduation from an approved nursing program with active RN credential
- Ability to work in the outpatient clinic environment and adapt to potential cross-department duties when qualified
