Youth Pastor
Youth Pastor-Village Meadows Baptist Church
Village Meadows Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor to lead and disciple students in grades 7–12. The Youth Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, relational discipleship, and ministry oversight for the student ministry of the church. This individual will help students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, equip them to live out their faith, and partner with families in the spiritual development of teenagers.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate follower of Christ who is committed to the authority of Scripture, the mission of the local church, and the call to make disciples. He should possess a heart for students, strong relational skills, organizational ability, and a desire to build a Christ-centered ministry that reaches students with the Gospel and helps them mature in their faith.
The Youth Pastor will serve under the leadership and supervision of the Senior Pastor and will work alongside church staff and volunteers to fulfill the mission and vision of Village Meadows Baptist Church.

Village Meadows Baptist Church desires to be a Great Commission church that is passionate about evangelism, discipleship, worship, service, and missions. We are seeking a Youth Pastor who shares this philosophy of ministry and desires to help students become lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ.
Primary Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship
Provide spiritual leadership for the student ministry of the church.
Develop and lead a discipleship-focused ministry for students in grades 7–12.
Teach and communicate God’s Word in a biblically sound, engaging, and relatable manner.
Encourage students in spiritual growth, prayer, worship, evangelism, and obedience to Christ.
Build relationships with students and families through consistent involvement and presence.
Help students discover and use their spiritual gifts in service to the church and community.
Ministry Programming
Plan, organize, and lead weekly student ministry gatherings and Bible studies.
Coordinate youth events, outreach opportunities, camps, retreats, mission trips, and fellowship activities.
Create environments that are welcoming, safe, fun, and spiritually meaningful.
Develop outreach strategies to connect with unchurched students in the community.
Volunteer Leadership
Recruit, train, encourage, and oversee adult volunteers serving in student ministry.
Foster a healthy volunteer culture focused on discipleship, teamwork, and ministry excellence.
Ensure all volunteers comply with church safety and child protection policies.
Communication & Administration
Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, volunteers, church staff, and church leadership.
Assist in planning and managing the student ministry budget.
Maintain ministry calendars, schedules, forms, and records as needed.
Utilize technology and social media appropriately to communicate and engage with students and families.
Church Involvement
Be actively involved in the overall life and ministry of the church.
Support the mission, vision, ministries, and leadership of Village Meadows Baptist Church.
Participate in church-wide events, worship services, and ministry opportunities.
Work cooperatively with church staff and ministry leaders.
Qualifications
Spiritual Qualifications
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and evidence of a growing walk with Him.
A clear calling to pastoral and student ministry.
A lifestyle that reflects biblical character and spiritual maturity.
Agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
Alignment with Southern Baptist doctrine and convictions.
Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of Village Meadows Baptist Church.
Ministry Qualifications
Prior youth ministry or youth pastor experience preferred.
Ability to effectively teach and disciple students from God’s Word.
Strong relational and communication skills.
Ability to lead volunteers and work effectively with parents and church leadership.
Organized, dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
Ability to connect with students while maintaining spiritual leadership and maturity.
