48 Electric is now hiring full-time Data Center Technicians to assist with various electrical construction activities inside active data centers. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, professional, and motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, highly controlled environments. You will work as a team in data centers as well as other customers throughout the Valley.

Data Center Technicians DO NOT need electrical background but must have reliable transportation, be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a drug test and background check. We work in a highly professional environment, not a general construction jobsite. Professionalism is a requirement.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Data Center Technician to support our rack energization efforts and assist with various electrical construction activities inside active data centers. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, professional, and motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced, highly controlled environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the safe and precise energization of server racks and related electrical equipment.
• Support ongoing construction efforts inside live data centers, maintaining strict adherence to site protocols and safety standards.
• Operate hand tools, lifts, and other equipment at varying heights safely and effectively.
• Work independently or as part of a team depending on project needs.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues on-site quickly and accurately.
• Maintain a professional demeanor at all times communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams must reflect the companys high standards.
• Complete daily work reports, documentation, and communication logs with attention to detail.
• Uphold and promote company core values of safety, integrity, and quality at every step.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience working in construction, electrical, or technical environments preferred; data center experience a strong plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods (810 hours/day).
• Ability to lift up to 51 pounds overhead.
• Ability to safely operate equipment at all heights.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
• Professional appearance and conduct are mandatory this is not a general construction environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (if applicable).
