Payroll Accountant - Tempe, AZ! POST NUMBER: 455813
- Oversee payroll account reconciliations across all entities and assess financial reports submitted by franchise operators for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and record payroll transactions each month, including standard and off-cycle payroll runs, as well as accruals for capitalized labor, paid time off, benefits, and bonuses.
- Participate in the monthly financial close by reconciling payroll-related accounts and supplying in-depth explanations for account variances.
- Review third-party tax filings such as W-2s, and coordinate any corrections or adjustments required prior to final submission.
- Work closely with the Fixed Assets team to evaluate and validate labor cost estimates allocated to capital projects.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to all payroll-related reporting obligations on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of operational reports within systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability for routine processes.
- 5 years of experience in payroll Accounting
