Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Somerton, AZ. This onsite contract position supports students within the school setting, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM with a standard 37.5-hour workweek. The caseload and specific grade levels will be determined, allowing flexibility to engage with a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in delivering direct therapy services to students
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with educational and clinical teams
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license
- IVP Fingerprint Card as required for school employment
- Previous experience working as a PTA in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
