School Bus Driver
Job Summary:
The School Bus Driver ensures the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, activities, and field trips. The role includes maintaining student safety, following designated routes, and ensuring the bus is clean and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Safety: Supervise students, ensure safe boarding and disembarking, and enforce bus rules.
Driving & Route Management: Safely operate the bus, follow routes, and perform vehicle inspections.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre/post-trip checks and report any issues.
Communication: Coordinate with parents, students, and school staff regarding schedules and concerns.
Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies calmly, following district protocols.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid CDL with a School Bus (S) endorsement.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage student behavior.
