• Collect and analyze accounts payable data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities to improve processes.
• Accurately and timely process vendor invoices, ensuring they are coded, approved, and matched with purchase orders or contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, address inquiries, and promptly resolve payment issues.
• Generate and distribute reports on accounts payable metrics and cost analyses.
• Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts payable records.
• Extract, scrub, analyze, and cleanse data in preparation of migration to new ERP.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in accounts payable.
• Continuously seek opportunities and present findings to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable processes.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining accounts payable automation tools and software.
• Work closely with the accounting team to streamline processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate's degree required
• Minimum 5 years of experience required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of automated accounting system preferred
• Knowledge of JD Edwards preferred
• Advanced Excel skills preferred
