COMPENSATION $26.00 - $33.00 WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Collect and analyze accounts payable data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities to improve processes.
- Accurately and timely process vendor invoices, ensuring they are coded, approved, and matched with purchase orders or contracts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, address inquiries, and promptly resolve payment issues.
- Generate and distribute reports on accounts payable metrics and cost analyses.
- Perform periodic reconciliations of accounts payable records.
- Extract, scrub, analyze, and cleanse data in preparation of migration to new ERP.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in accounts payable.
- Continuously seek opportunities and present findings to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in accounts payable processes.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining accounts payable automation tools and software.
- Work closely with the accounting team to streamline processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Associate's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of automated accounting system preferred
- Knowledge of JD Edwards preferred
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
