Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Dental Assistant to support a hospital-based dental clinic during an extended leave coverage period. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative clinical environment assisting with patient care and ensuring efficient daily operations in a state healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support for dental exams fillings and extractions

• Perform authorized dental X-rays

• Answer phones manage scheduling and coordinate with clinical and specialty teams

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care

• Maintain accurate clinic records and ensure timely documentation

• Monitor manage and replenish dental supply inventory

• Clean decontaminate sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment

• Support efficient clinic workflow and deliver excellent patient service

Requirements

• Arizona Radiological Proficiency Certificate

• Minimum 6 months of dental assisting experience

• FPCC required

• Strong communication organization and multitasking skills

• Ability to provide oral health education and maintain medical/dental records
