Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school district in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 6-12 within a resource setting. This full-time contract position is perfect for an educator experienced in middle and high school core subjects who can effectively manage and document student progress while collaborating with the special education team. The role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a resource setting
• Manage individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
• Collaborate closely with other special education staff and general education teachers
• Support academic and behavioral goals tailored to each students needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Certification covering grades 6-12
• Generalist or Content Area Certification for grades 6-12
• Experience working with middle and high school students in special education settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Candidates who have previously interviewed or applied directly to this district will not be considered
