Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous work as a paraprofessional or instructional assistant in a school setting
• Special education expertise, specifically supporting students with physical and health needs
• Medical experience or familiarity with basic healthcare preferred
• Comfortable providing toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Ability to assist students with asthma and physical disabilities
• Reliable, caring, and attentive to students’ daily needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct support to two students, focusing primarily on a wheelchair-using child
• Aid students during classroom activities, transitions, and personal care routines
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility (lifting, positioning as needed)
• Provide a safe, encouraging learning environment for both children
• Collaborate closely with teachers and related service providers
