Regional Directors for Cohere are organizational leaders who apply their expertise in community association management, leadership, and operational strategy to ensure the communities under their direction operate optimally and in alignment with annual business plans and company objectives. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the Regional Director (RD) is responsible for leading dynamic, professional teams that execute across all disciplines, including operations, governance, engagement, communications, financial management, and resident experience delivery.

The RD is responsible not only for community performance, but also for leadership development, operational consistency, organizational alignment, and the successful execution of Cohere’s integrated service model. As the aspirational and relational leader for the people under their management, the RD translates vision into execution, builds operational accountability, develops talent, strengthens client partnerships, and ensures community and company success through every phase of the client life cycle.

Collaboration is foundational to our work. The RD is responsible for fostering alignment within and among on-site teams, corporate departments, and operational disciplines to ensure cohesive service delivery and an exceptional resident and client experience.

The RD is passionate about community building and believes that lives are made better when people are connected and communities are intentionally built and cared for with residents in mind. As an advocate for Cohere’s mission and approach, the RD actively supports long-term growth, client satisfaction, and strategic opportunities where Cohere’s integrated model can be fully realized.

Scope

  • Create and maintain a culture of accountability, ownership, responsiveness, collaboration, and operational excellence across all communities within the region.
  • Own regional operational performance, key KPIs, and execution of strategic initiatives across the assigned region. Monitor performance through reporting rhythms, inspections, operational reviews, and accountability structures while partnering with the Regional Vice President to identify operational trends, risks, staffing needs, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Participate in Cohere Councils of Excellence and engage in ongoing personal and professional development aimed at expanding leadership effectiveness, operational capabilities, and passion for the work.
  • Seek out service and leadership opportunities among nonprofit, philanthropic, and community-serving organizations that positively reflect Cohere’s mission and values.
