Ironworker / Welder (Commercial Modular Manufacturing)
Russo Modular is a commercial modular building manufacturer specializing in steel-framed modular construction. We are seeking a skilled Ironworker / Welder to join our fabrication team in a shop-based manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Weld and fabricate structural steel components for modular buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Cut, fit, and assemble steel members
- Perform MIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding (TIG a plus)
- Ensure welds meet quality, safety, and structural standards
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow OSHA and company safety requirements
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience as an ironworker and/or structural welder
- Experience in 3G and 4G stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- AWS welding certification (or ability to obtain within 30 day of employment)
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop experience a plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
