You will work closely with AI Architects and cross\u2011functional teams to implement scalable, high-quality systems across AI, cloud, data, and software engineering.\n\nThis role is ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy deep technical execution, solution-level design, and mentoring, and who want to operate at the leading edge of applied AI without owning enterprise-wide architecture or technical strategy.\n\nAs a Principal Software Engineer, you will:\n\n * Design and implement solution-level components for AI, ML and data science initiatives.\n * Translate business and technical requirements into detailed designs, code, and implementation plans.\n * Serve as a technical lead for AI-focused workstreams, ensuring high-quality execution and delivery outcomes.\n * Build, test, and deploy AI, ML, cloud, analytics, and software solutions in production environments.\n * Collaborate closely with AI Architects to align implementation decisions with broader architectural intent.\n * Contribute to technical excellence through code reviews, mentoring engineers, and sharing best practices.\n * Support presales and discovery activities by contributing technical insight, estimates, and feasibility assessments.\n * Stay current with emerging AI technologies and help apply them pragmatically to client solutions.\n\n\n\nWhat we\u2019re looking for \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on engineering experience.\n * Strong experience in software engineering with demonstrated delivery of complex, production-grade systems.\n * Practical depth in at least one of the following areas, with working knowledge across others:\n * AI/ML \u0026 Agentic Systems\n * Implementing GenAI and agentic workflows\n * Integrating LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval systems\n * Supporting ML/LLMOps pipelines and experimentation frameworks\n * Cloud Engineering\n * Building cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS\n * Applying distributed systems and scalability patterns\n * Data Engineering \u0026 Analytics\n * Implementing data pipelines, vector stores, and analytics workloads\n * Working with structured and unstructured data sources\n * Software Engineering\n * Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java, C++, or similar languages\n * Experience with modern frameworks, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines\n\n\n\nPreferred Certifications (or equivalent experience)\n\n * AWS: ML Specialty, AI Practitioner, ML Engineer, or Solutions Architect\n * Azure: AI Engineer Associate, Data Scientist Associate, Generative AI Fundamentals\n * Databricks: ML Associate, Data Engineer Associate, Generative AI Engineer Associate\n\n\n\nWho You Are\n\n * A strong technologist who communicates effectively with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.\n * Comfortable operating in delivery-focused consulting environments with multiple priorities.\n * Collaborative by nature and effective working within cross-functional teams.\n * Experienced mentoring other engineers through example, code reviews, and technical guidance.\n * Motivated by building real-world AI systems that deliver measurable business value.\n\n\n\nWhat you can expect\n\nWe\u2019re legendary for taking care of you, your family and to help you engage with your local community.
