POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a telehealth position to provide safe and effective medical care to patients within their scope of practice, while offering guidance to registered nurses, health coaches, and in-house health staff. You will engage with clients daily via telehealth to review lab results, implement 10X Health System’s wellness programs, and ensure individualized patient care is consistent and effective. This position offers the exciting opportunity to work in a specialized environment that integrates functional medicine, anti-aging, bio-identical hormones, and holistic health practices to optimize patient well-being.

Ideal candidates will be actively working toward, or already hold, certification in functional or integrative medicine (e.g., through the Institute for Functional Medicine or a comparable accredited program).

OBJECTIVES

• Interpret lab results, conduct patient consultations, and request additional diagnostic tests as needed to optimize care
• Evaluate patient medical histories, physical findings, and diagnostic data to develop and manage treatment plans for acute, minor, and stable chronic conditions
• Prescribe and initiate drug, diet, exercise, and topical therapies, while also managing hormone therapy patients with care and attention
• Develop personalized wellness programs based on patient lab values
• Address patient health and wellness questions with an educational approach, and encourage patient feedback for continuous improvement
• Utilize an EMR platform to accurately track patient information, ensure protocol compliance, and follow up on treatment efficacy
• Engage in patient outreach for feedback, referrals, and continuous improvement
• Attend networking events, workshops, courses, and help recruit new patients

COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrated experience in functional medicine, including anti-aging, bio-identical hormones, and peptides
• Strong ability to interpret lab results and communicate findings to patients in a clear, easy-to-understand manner
• Expertise in weight loss counseling, nutritional and metabolic testing, and interpreting results to guide personalized care plans
• Knowledge of bio-identical hormone therapies for both male and female patients, including treatment planning and education on best practices
• Familiarity with anti-aging procedures and the ability to advise patients on available treatment options
• Exceptional interpersonal, sales, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, patients, and the public
• Capable of clearly and effectively explaining 10X Health’s products and services to patients
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and other software applications.
• Meticulous in cataloging and recording patient data accurately to ensure continuity of care

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3 - 5+ years of functional medicine experience
• ARNP License
• NPI and DEA numbers
• Active, Unrestricted NP License in the state(s) where you will be practicing
• Multiple active state licenses strongly preferred
• Flexible availability to include evening and weekends
