ASU Prep Phoenix is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 7–12 using a push-in/pull-out model focused primarily on math. You'll work in a collaborative, inclusive environment alongside co-teachers, aides, and related service providers to ensure every student receives the support they need to succeed. This is a full school-year opportunity through May 27, 2026.

What You’ll Do

• Provide push-in and pull-out support to high school students, primarily in math, within inclusive and resource settings
• Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and academic standards for students with a range of needs (mild to moderate, ED, autism – to be confirmed)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service staff to adapt lessons and provide targeted support
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Support inclusive classroom practices while managing a caseload of students across grades 7–12
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a supportive team environment
  
  

Experience You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate in Special Education
• Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous classroom or student teaching experience
• Ability to modify instruction and work collaboratively across disciplines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with IEP development and progress monitoring preferred
