Location: Tucson, AZ | Pay: 21/hr | Schedule: 1st shift 6am to 2:30pm

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with an industry-leading electronics manufacturer to hire a Mechanical Operator (Cabin Pressure) to join their high-tech Tucson, AZ . This site specializes in cutting-edge electric power generation systems, electronic engine controls & sensors, and cabin pressure control systems for commercial aviation, general aviation, and military applications.

This is a full-time, onsite opportunity—not remote—and plays a key role in ensuring quality and safety for aerospace systems worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be working hands-on in a fast-paced, precision-focused manufacturing environment . Daily tasks include:

• Manual assembly of mechanical components: valves, regulators, ducts, and pressure control systems

• Operating automated assembly and test equipment

• Hand soldering and component inspection

• Performing line setups, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting mechanical issues

• Ensuring adherence to detailed engineering specifications and quality standards
  

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 4–5 years of relevant mechanical assembly or production technician experience

• High school diploma (or equivalent)

• Mechanical aptitude with proven hands-on assembly skills

• Ability to work independently and remain accountable

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions

• Willingness to train on 1st shift (30–60 days) before moving to 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in soldering, mechanical assembly, or related technical skills

• Experience with SMT processing, board assembly, or in-circuit testing

• Familiarity with tools like Word, Excel, and documentation control systems

Pay Details: 21.00 per hour
