Interim ED Manager

The Interim ED Manager will guide a dynamic Emergency Department within a hospital designated as a Stroke Center and Cardiac Center with a strong orthopedics program, ensuring seamless readiness for stroke alerts, STEMI activations, and complex fracture care. The Interim ED Manager will champion rapid triage, fast‑track throughput, trauma‑ready stabilization, pediatric‑friendly care, and collaborative pathways with EMS, cath lab, neurointervention, OR, and critical care to deliver exceptional emergency room outcomes.
The Interim ED Manager will report to senior nursing leadership and partner closely with the Emergency Department Medical Director, supported by experienced assistant managers, charge nurses, educators, and a friendly, diverse interprofessional team. The Interim ED Manager will lead staffing and scheduling, operations and budget stewardship, policy and regulatory readiness, sepsis and stroke/STEMI performance, patient experience, staff engagement, onboarding and precepting, and continuous improvement using shared governance and Lean methodologies.
