Field Selling Assistant - Albertons - Snacks (Scottsdale, AZ)
OVERVIEW
As a Field Selling Assistant (FSA) you will be key in enabling the Sales team to deliver outstanding results. In this role you will support the Albertsons Snacks customer sales team with accurate systems management, business management and creation and completion of selling materials and forms. This position will support Albertsons Denver, Intermountain, Jewel, Mid-Atlantic, and Shaw’s divisions and will be in the Western Business Center. FSAs will work closely with their field sales team, Planning and Category Management teammates, as well as cross-functionally and with customer contacts. Competitive candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently, show strong organizational/prioritization skills and technical (excel) skills, have a strong analytical background and pay close attention to detail and demonstrate flexibility and agility to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. The FSA will also be expected to support the day-to-day operations of the Western Business Center, including overall office and facilities management and meeting support when requested.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Deliver Outstanding Results & Sales Support
- Assist with internal system maintenance to ensure accurate tracking of volume and spending
- Provide customer forms and deal entry as needed for promotions, eCommerce, new items, logistical changes, etc.
- Assist team with special pack creation and order management
- Create selling materials for customer sales and retail teams
- Provide daily operations support for Western Business Center as requested
Problem Solving/Analytics
- Work collaboratively with peers to identify, improve and develop efficient processes
- Assist with trade and sales reporting as needed
Engaging Leader

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience in any of the following: account management, trade funding, analytics, finance, sales, marketing, and/or category management, retail
- Analytical skills and experience
- Project management experience/skills (attention to detail, follow through, communication, independent worker)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with internal and external data sources (e.g., Trade Planner, Nielsen, customer point of sale data)
- Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS
- International remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $45000.00 - $62000.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
