Entry Level Automation Technician

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with automated machinery, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production equipment running at peak performance. You’ll support the manufacturing of post‑surgical garments by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems in a clean, safety‑focused environment.

Shifts:

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Sun/Mon/Tue + every other Wed)
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Sun/Mon/Tue + every other Wed)
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Thu/Fri/Sat + every other Wed)
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Thu/Fri/Sat + every other Wed)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain automated production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform equipment setups, adjustments, and commissioning to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs.
• Work with sensors, wiring, valves, actuators, and control components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and machine documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs, machine performance, and maintenance activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands‑on experience with machinery, automation, or industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatics and basic electrical principles.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience commissioning or setting up automated equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to PLCs, control systems, or robotics.
• Background in automation, machine operation, or manufacturing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes.
