The Bike Shop helps Raytheon programs successfully demonstrate solutions to their engineering problems. Our engineers and technicians provide quick-turn innovation design fabrication assembly test and demonstration services. Our vertically integrated team designs fabricates and tests mechanical electrical and software a fast paced highly collaborative work environment our projects range from proof of concept to flight hardware demonstration.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the RAPID Software Development effort which tracks Bike Shop metrics.

• Support and collaborate with multidisciplined teams in rapid reaction prototyping.

• Troubleshooting issues and anomalies with hardware and/or software to identify root cause and implement and verify solutions.

• Prioritize and handle multiple software engineering tasks concurrently.

• Troubleshoot software and test equipment instrumentation.

• Work in a multidiscipline engineering team environment.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 12 months or less relevant professional work experience.

• Experience in rapid reaction prototype and development .

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active and in-scope US security clearance of Secret or higher.

• Experience with or exposure to various military platforms for weapons conveyance such as ships ground combat systems fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

• Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

• Experience in a direct customer facing role.

  The salary range for this role is 66000 USD - 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
