Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to provide coordinated care in a home health environment. The clinician will plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain daily living skills across the lifespan.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license for Arizona required to start the assignment.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required. Experience providing care in home health or home care environments is preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance required. Ability to travel locally for patient visits required.
- Ability to perform physical demands of the role including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, prolonged standing and walking, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
- Demonstrated competence in clinical assessment, development and documentation of Plan of Care (POC), progress notes, and communication with interdisciplinary teams and physicians.
- Familiarity with fabrication and maintenance of adaptive equipment and hand splints, and basic troubleshooting and maintenance of therapy equipment preferred.
