Position Overview
The Outside Sales / Project Manager is responsible for selling residential roofing projects and managing them from contract to completion. This role owns the customer relationship, ensures accurate scopes of work, and works closely with production to deliver high-quality results and excellent homeowner experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Close residential roofing sales through company provided leads, self-generated leads, inspections, and referrals.
• Conduct roof inspections, measure roofs, assess issues, come up with proper solutions for repairs or re-roofs, and create accurate estimates and scopes of work.
• Present proposals, close contracts, and collect required documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the homeowner throughout the project as well as the Superintendent and Production Scheduler.
• Coordinate with production, scheduling, and suppliers (when needed) to ensure smooth execution.
• Perform final walk-throughs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Request Reviews and Referrals from current customer base.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM.
• Uphold company standards for professionalism, safety, and workmanship.
Qualifications
• Roofing or Solar sales or construction sales/project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Self-motivated, organized, and results driven.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable working in the field and on roofs.
Compensation
• Top tier Commission-only starting at 8% (12% for self-generated leads).
