Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to provide direct services within a high school setting serving students in grades 9 through 12. This contract position offers the opportunity to positively impact the educational and developmental outes of a diverse student population.

Location: Yuma, AZ
Duration: Contract from ASAP to End of School Year (EOSY)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 140 students, supported by an assistant OT and COTA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to high school students, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor needs
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and reports in pliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate prehensive student care

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice
• Experience working with adolescents, particularly within a school environment
• Ability to manage a large caseload effectively and collaborate with therapy assistants
• Strong munication and organizational skills
