Material Handler - Mesa AZ

Location: Mesa, AZ

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse team in Mesa, AZ. This role is primarily focused in the shipping department, with opportunities for cross-training in other warehouse areas over time. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies
• Communicate with customer representatives, service providers, and internal teams regarding shipments
• Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensure all shipments are properly labeled and packaged for safe delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Unload deliveries, sort materials, and stock received items
• Maintain accurate logs of daily movements, scan inventory, and ensure precise counts
• Organize stock by boxing and storing items in designated warehouse locations
• Provide backup support across shipping and receiving operations as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing inventory
• Knowledge of receiving, stocking, packing, and loading processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and sense of urgency
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (some packages may be large)
• Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet programs
