Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Experienced Bindery Operator, located in Phoenix, AZ. The Bindery Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, and trimmers. Tasks will include setting up machines, troubleshooting issues, and performing quality checks. The Bindery Operator will also assist with inventory management and ensure all finished products meet company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience with operating and maintaining bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, collators, stitchers, trimmers, and mailing equipment
- Ability to perform quality checks and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Knowledge of production reporting and inventory management
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in print or bindery operations is a plus
- Experience working in the print industry is advantageous
